My experience in chanting nama yesterday. I went to this place name Konarchatiram. I now know that they have  been doing chanting nama regularly every Saturday from 11.30am to 1.30pm. It has been 9 years now.  Wow so great right.

Well I took a lot of Thulasi to tie garland and there were only two ladies with a two year old boy who was playing around.  I prayed and then started to tie the thulasi garland. I only did halfway when one lady who is a teacher came and  said Hi and sat next to me and said she would help to do the garland. I told her no I can do it but she insisted and my babies were crushed and pushed roughly.  I had no choice but to let her do it.  We did two garlands. One I passed to the lady and she put it so nicely around Krishna and Radha.  It looked very lovely. I kept on staring at then both as the colour also was matching.  They were in cream colour and the garland was in bright green.  Then we did another garland which was very long and the piest helped to put it on the saiyanam Perumal (sleeping position) and it looked very beautiful to look at Perumal.

We started saying Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare for half an hour. Then Kaliyayum Bali Kollum song followed by Rama Namam Solvathey Kaliyin and Namavai Paduvom. It was for about thirty minutes.  Then our head Mrs Kalpana started talking about her experience in meeting our guruji where she showed the books and was instructed to write all prayers in the books. eluthi vai.... wow it was nice to hear her talking.  All the devotees were asked to write their prayers and to say thanks once this has been achieved and to jot it down on the Jayam book.  Never forget to give thanks to our prayers. 

Then the pooja started with all the prasadam.  They had lemon rice for prasadam.  We finished at 1.30pm. Had a nice peaceful time chanting namas.
